For something different, enroll your child in classes for simple sewing, knitting, crochet and the like. From learning how to handle a needle, sew buttons and create a bookmark to more elaborate projects. Craft projects teach children to use their hands and their creativity.
All materials and supplies are provided.

Registration Information:
Classes are separated by age – 5 to 6 year olds and 8 to 10 year olds. Age grouping is a guide; students outside the age range may try a class to see if they are suited. Classes are continuous through June 2007 and students may join at any time. There is a limit of 8 students per class. Students enroll for 6 classes at a time (session). Students may continue with as many sessions as they like. Students are allowed one no charge class absence per session. The class can be made-up after the six-week session or credited to the next six-week session. Parents will decide with the teachers which classes will be cancelled due to holidays. Generally, we follow the Port Washington Public Schools Calendar.
